About These Terms

These terms explain how you can use the SAFOD Unlock The Everyday campaign website. When we say 'we', 'us' or 'SAFOD', that's who we are. We run this campaign with support from UNOPS and AT Scale.

Who We Are

The Southern Africa Federation of the Disabled (SAFOD) is running a 3-month campaign across Southern Africa. We work with 10 partner organisations in 8 countries: Malawi, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Eswatini, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, and Lesotho.

Using Campaign Materials

What You Can Do

You can use our campaign materials to promote assistive technology awareness. This includes:

  • Social media posts and images.
  • Photos from our library.
  • Key messages and statistics.
  • Campaign hashtags.

Rules for Using Materials

  • Credit SAFOD and Unlock The Everyday when using our content.
  • Use the #UnlockTheEveryday hashtag.
  • Follow the photo captions and credits we provide.
  • Don't change our key messages or misrepresent the campaign.

What You Cannot Do

  • Sell our materials or use them for profit.
  • Claim you created our content.
  • Use materials in ways that harm people with disabilities.
  • Remove credits or watermarks.

Partner Organisations

If you want to become a campaign partner:

  • Contact us through the website.
  • We'll review your request within 5 business days.
  • We may ask about your organisation's work.
  • We reserve the right to decline partnerships.

Website Content

Our Content

All content on this website belongs to SAFOD or our partners. This includes:

  • Text and articles.
  • Images and photos.
  • Graphics and designs.
  • Campaign materials.

User Submissions

If you send us content (stories, photos, testimonials):

  • You keep ownership of your content.
  • You give us permission to use it for the campaign.
  • We may edit content for length or clarity.
  • We'll credit you unless you ask us not to.

Privacy and Data

We collect minimal information when you use our website. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

We will never:

  • Sell your information.
  • Share it without permission.
  • Use it for purposes beyond this campaign.
